David has been involved in the international finance sector for over 12 years, with a strong focus on M&A origination and execution throughout Latin America. Throughout his career, he has been involved in over 20 M&A and capital markets transactions involving more than US$15 billion in deal value. Aside from being a Managing Partner at Twee Capital, he is also a Managing Partner at Zinco Capital. He currently serves as Industry Advisor to Advent International and as Independent Board of Directors member of Hebel North America.

Before co-founding Twee, David worked for Morgan Stanley’s Investment Banking division as a Vice President in their Mexico City Office, where he was involved in the origination and execution of multiple landmark deals in Mexico. To name a few, transaction experience includes the sale of Walmart’s Suburbia business to Liverpool for US$1.1 billion, the sale of a 32% stake in Aeromexico to Delta Airlines and the creation of the first FIBRA E vehicle in Mexico, consisting of placing a 20% equity stake of PINFRAs Mexico-Toluca toll road in the hands of Mexican AFOREs. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, David worked for Compass Global Investments, a +US$1.0 billion AUM value-oriented hedge fund in New York, where he helped source global equity investments through the performance of fundamental research and analysis. David began his career working as an analyst and associate for Citigroup’s Latin America Investment Banking Group in New York, where he spent 5 years working across multiple industries and product offerings in an advisory role.

David holds an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York and a degree in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.
